Austin Dog Rescue

Austin Dog Rescue is a local non-profit group that saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas—dogs that were either picked up as strays and impounded or were surrendered to the shelter and were slated for euthanasia. When Austin Dog reorganized their organization in mid-2007, they needed a new look.

I got my dog, Hero, from Austin Dog Rescue, and eagerly submitted a handful of logo ideas. After a short revision period, we ended up with the new official logo that you see here.
