The Hurm.com forums were hacked, probably early morning on Sunday, October 30. The hacker deleted my board account and planted bigs of ego signature here and there to let readers know what happened. At the moment, it seems like my hosting service makes a new backup each day...and simultaneously gets rid of any old backup. Which means the only backup they have for me is from the same day as the hacking, and probably after it was done. I suspect they can't revert to one from, say, five days ago, so I'm either going to have to revert to a really old backup (before upgrading to the latest version of the forum) or risk delving into the database and re-enter my info there (and hope I don't break anything).
