Maybe you've heard of the "Star Wars Kid"? He made a little "lightsaber demonstration" movie of him in his civvies swinging something around with true fanboy zeal, but no actual swordsmanship skills. Some people got a hold of this movie and sent it around the Internet. Tons more shared it with everyone who hadn't yet seen it. A few people started adding special sound & visual effects to the movies. Apparently there's now sites dedicated to this recent Internet phenomenon, like this one here.
