A buddy of mine from back home (on Long Island in New York&8212;I'm currently in Texas) called me last night to pass on that a mutual friend of ours died yesterday. This friend liked to work on his house, I guess periodicially doing significant repairwork and improvements. Apparantly, he was working on fixing or putting up some kind of brick wall, and it collapsed on him, killing him almost instantly.
