It's that time of year again: The Staple! Independent Media Expo of Austin, Texas is on for March 6, 2010 at the Monarch Event Center. Guy Davis is the special guest! And, as is tradition, I'll be there with a table to chat and hawk my comics!

Hurm News: Wizard World's New Austin Comic Con

Have you heard the news? Wizard World has announced their new Austin Comic Con. It'll be from Friday, November 12, through Sunday, November 14, 2010, in the Austin Convention Center. Of course, the best part is that I currently live in Austin, Texas—expect to see me there all three days!

Local Heroes: Storyline 10 has concluded

"Microbot's Bad Day" the tenth Local Heroes storyline, concluded last week. It's too bad Microbot was never able to get his revenge against the sensational Squire, but I'm sure Plethora will make sure we haven't seen the last of our favorite pint-sized menace.

Join us in a few weeks when we'll be back from our short hiatus and racing into another new adventure. The next storyline doesn't have a title yet, but related themes include time, magic, evil, the quantum state of the universe, and a pan-dimensional disaster. See you soon, faithful ones!

Hurm News: Back from Comic-Con

What a great time at Comic-Con! Well, except for getting sick at the end. I was in bed all day yesterday and didn't finish the latest Local Heroes strip. I'm still very sick, so it looks like we'll just be skipping the strip for this week. In the meantime, hopefully my snapshots from the event will satisfy your need for an update. Mixed in with random pictures of the show floor are two movies and a slew of free sketches I did for the people holding them. Check out the pics here.
