A Girl and Her Wookiee was a bi-weekly comic strip written by Gil Dowling and drawn by Keith Quinn, both long-time Star Wars fans. It ran from June 4, 2001 through December 24, 2002 at SWG Stratics. The strip centered on Lorla Thisteen, a young girl searching for her missing grandfather (secretly a retired Jedi Knight) with the aid of her loyal companion, Tonkah the Wookiee, and their pilot, Symon Jakkel.
Artist, web designer, and storyteller—Keith Quinn is the creator of the Local Heroes and Playtime Projects comic strips and websites. Keith was also the co-creator of A Girl and Her Wookiee, a bi-weekly comic strip that ran from June 4, 2001 through December 24, 2002 at SWG Stratics.
